The reviewers of Orbis Islamica: Journal of Islamic Studies comprise academics and researchers with recognized expertise in Islamic studies, including Qur’anic studies, Hadith, Islamic law (fiqh and uṣūl al-fiqh), theology, Islamic philosophy, history of Islamic civilization, and contemporary Islamic thought. Representing a range of scholarly traditions and institutions, the reviewers provide critical and balanced evaluations that attend to textual accuracy, methodological rigor, theoretical depth, and contextual relevance. Through a double-blind peer-review process, they ensure the integrity, originality, and scholarly contribution of each manuscript, while also guiding authors to refine arguments and situate their work within ongoing global and regional discourses in Islamic studies.
