Pengaruh Penguasaan Nahwu terhadap Kemampuan Menghafal Al-Qur’an Siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah

This study aims to examine the level of nahwu mastery, the ability to memorize the Qur’an, and the influence of nahwu mastery on Qur’anic memorization ability among ninth-grade students at MTs Tahfizh Alam Qur’an Ponorogo. This research employed a descriptive quantitative design with a quantitative approach. The data consisted of primary and secondary data collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The study was conducted at MTs Tahfizh Alam Qur’an Ponorogo with 32 ninth-grade students as research subjects. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistical analysis, normality testing, linearity testing, and simple linear regression analysis using SPSS. The results indicate that both nahwu mastery and Qur’anic memorization ability of the students were in the good category, with variations across individuals. Regression analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a calculated t-value greater than the t-table value, indicating that mastery of nahwu has a significant effect on students’ ability to memorize the Qur’an. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating nahwu instruction into tahfizh programs to enhance the quality of Qur’anic memorization in a more meaningful way.
