Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Powerpoint Interaktif dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

This study aims to determine the extent of the effectiveness of interactive PowerPoint media in Arabic language learning for fourth-grade students at MI Ma’arif Al-Falah Ngrayun, Ponorogo. The research addresses two main questions: (1) how interactive PowerPoint is used in Arabic language instruction at MI Ma’arif Al-Falah, and (2) how effective interactive PowerPoint is in improving Arabic language learning outcomes for fourth-grade students. This study employed a quantitative research method, with the entire population of fourth-grade students at MI Ma’arif Al-Falah as the research subjects (20 students), using a saturated sampling technique. Two types of data were used: primary data obtained from students and teachers, and secondary data derived from documents, textbooks, and relevant scholarly works. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, documentation, and tests. Data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, homogeneity testing, and a paired sample t-test. The results indicate that interactive PowerPoint is effective in improving students’ Arabic learning outcomes. The mean post-test score (81.4500) was significantly higher than the mean pre-test score (53.2000), with standard deviations of 30.99656 and 23.57653, respectively. The mean difference of -28.25000 was statistically significant (p = 0.001), with a t-value of -3.982 and degrees of freedom (df) = 19. The effect size analysis showed a large effect, with Cohen’s d of -0.890 and Hedges’ g of -0.873. These findings support the conclusion that interactive PowerPoint media significantly enhance students’ Arabic learning achievement. This study is expected to contribute to the understanding and development of more effective instructional strategies through the use of interactive PowerPoint in Arabic language learning at MI Ma’arif Al-Falah Ngrayun, Ponorogo.
