Focus & Scope
Societas: Journal of Social Issues and Community Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research and scholarly articles addressing social issues and community studies in diverse socio-cultural contexts. The journal aims to advance theoretical development, empirical inquiry, and methodological innovation in the social sciences, with particular attention to community-based perspectives and socially relevant research.
The journal welcomes multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary contributions that critically examine social problems, social change, and community dynamics at local, national, and global levels. Emphasis is placed on studies that demonstrate analytical rigor, empirical depth, and clear implications for social policy, community development, and social transformation.
