Sustainable business ethics has become an important necessity in addressing environmental, social, and corporate governance challenges in the modern era. The Environmental, Social, and Governance framework offers a business approach that is not only profit-oriented but also concerned with environmental preservation, social welfare, and governance integrity. This article aims to analyze the concept of sustainable business ethics, explain the implementation of environmental, social, and governance aspects, and examine their integration with Maqashid Sharia. This study employs a descriptive-analytical literature review to examine relevant literature on ESG, Islamic business ethics, and Maqashid Sharia. The discussion shows that environmental considerations require companies to maintain ecological sustainability through resource management, waste reduction, and accountability for environmental impacts. The social aspect emphasizes the protection of workers’ rights, corporate social responsibility, inclusivity, and social justice. Meanwhile, the governance aspect requires transparency, accountability, integrity, and the prevention of corruption. The integration of ESG with Maqashid Sharia strengthens the ethical foundation of business by protecting religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth. This article concludes that sustainable business ethics grounded in ESG and Maqashid Sharia can serve as an inclusive, responsible, and long-term, public-benefit-oriented business model.
