Praktik Kegiatan Khuruj fi Sabilillah dalam Mengembangkan Kemampuan Silaturahmi Santri Pondok Pesantren

This study is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach aimed at describing in depth the practice of khuruj fi sabilillah in developing students’ social relationship (silaturahmi) skills at Al Fatah Islamic Boarding School in Campursari Village. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving students, boarding school administrators, and records of khuruj fi sabilillah activities. The study at Al Fatah Islamic Boarding School, Ponorogo Regency, identifies three main stages in implementing khuruj fi sabilillah. The first stage involves preparation before the activity begins. The second stage consists of religious programs conducted in the mosque during the khuruj activity. The third stage includes follow-up programs after the completion of the khuruj activity. Supporting factors include motivation and sincerity, financial availability, the supportive boarding school environment, and da’wah training. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include laziness, limited public understanding, economic constraints, and lack of family support. The impacts on students include strengthening religious spirituality, developing da’wah character, applying religious knowledge, and fostering solidarity among students. The impacts on society include increased religious awareness, strengthened mosque functions, positive social change, moral and ethical development, and occasional misunderstandings.
